Simpsons Ride Film - 01 3ds max, Brazil r/s, Digital Fusion, Photoshop December 2010
This project had a lot of highs and lows for me personally. My wife is a huge Simpson's fan so I was extremely excited to work on this project. I pushed and pushed as hard as I could to give this project a 2D look that match the franchise but the powers that be, "cough, Gracie, cough" decided it should be done with 3D shading. Go figure. In the end it still worked out, even though the screen on the ride is way too dark, but I would have rather made this look 2D and immersed the audience into the Simpson's show than make it 3D. Sorry for the rant 3 years later.
